Visited Nido's backyard for brunch in May , and I'm glad I did! We had a delicious time, and I had two of their cold coffee brunch cocktails - I want more right now.I went with the chilaquiles and was quite content - they come with chorizo, and it's nice to not need to add meat for more $$. Good flavor. My friends were both eating lighter and went with the elote, but one was their standard elote asada, which came with lots of spicy & crunchy toppings. The second was the vegan version, served up with cashew cream. Both friends were happy with their corn!I still want another of those coffee slushies.----Tried out Nido's backyard with friends last Monday, and it's a really inviting beer garden-like space! We started with queso and a La Picosa cocktail for me, which you can get with tequila or mezcal, chipotle liqueur, lime, and honey. Loved the cocktail, and the queso had really nice flavor with jalapeno, chipotle, and a smokiness to the cheese. My potatoes adovado flautas looked quite nice, but were lacking in flavor. My friend's blue corn quesadilla with squash blossoms was similar in that the freshness was welcome and the creativity great for vegan and vegetarian dishes, but more spice would be nice. There was flavor galore in the duck enchiladas, mainly because that was a super rich, chocolatey mole! Expect a hearty meal out of that dish.

Here’s a review in English based on your description:“The Nido is a place full of Mexican folkloric charm. The food is good, but it’s not quite delicious — it leaves you wanting something extra to say, ‘Wow!’ The service is good, though not remarkable. The ambiance is lovely, with a strong Mexican-style atmosphere. The drinks are tasty, especially the cocktails made with mezcal and tequila that aren’t commercial brands, but while they’re good, they’re not extraordinary.”Parking: It close form the place

We had our wedding reception here in the event area on //, and our experience was great! Everyone said it was the best wedding they have been to. I love that they have a private bar in the event area and allowed us to bring our own DJ. Everyone was so happy with the service, the food, the cocktails, the vibe, and our favorite bartender Khalid!
